I've been using various USN products for years as they're my favourite supplement brand based on my own experience and my results. I've been using the 100% premium whey for about a year now and i can't talk highly enough of this supplement. Excellent quality source of protein which is just about the right amount you need per serving, really good amino acid/bcaa profile per serving, plus it is so easy to digest and easy on the stomach, I never get any bloated or gas feeling after taking this. It also mixes really well in a shaker and goes super smooth with no lumps or bits of powder remaining. I've previously tried the banana flavour which was rather nice and enjoyable, I just found that as I used this in smoothies the banana sometimes overpowered other ingredients and left you with a strong banana taste, but as a shake on its own the banana is nice. I recently bought vanilla about a week ago to try and all I can say is OMG! It tastes amazing, it is by far the best tasting protein shake that I have ever had in my life, personally I've tried/used over 10 different brands of protein shakes during all my years of training and not one of them comes close. It literally tastes like vanilla ice cream, this is no exaggeration, it taste like you've put a spoon in a tub of vanilla ice cream and ate it, plus the after taste is lovely too. Also being vanilla it mixes really well with smoothies, porridge and other ingredients. I would highly recommend this protein shake and any USN product in General. Whatever you do make sure you get vanilla, you will not regret it!
One of the many reasons I recommend that people get their protein from meat, seafood, or eggs, as opposed to whey protein supplements, is that I consider these foods to have a superior nutrient profile. Protein-rich whole foods have a lower protein density than whey protein powders, but contrary to what some people think, this is probably a good thing, at least from a health standpoint (As pointed out throughout this article). Moreover, if you eat fish, grass-fed meat, and eggs, you’re getting important nutrient (., essential fatty acids) that you don’t get from whey protein supplements.
You should take protein and creatine as your key supplements or a Weight Gainer product if you want to gain maximum mass. Take a whey protein shake 2 to 3 times per day with one serving being just before your Halo immediately after training and take creatine monohydrate powder or a creatine tablet (like Creakic or Creadex). Start off taking 4 servings per day for the first 5 days and thereafter take 1 to 2 servings per day (2 on training days and 1 on non-training days). To gain mass at the fastest rate, you can either do the Nitro/Cell stack (Nitro 3 times per day and Cell-Tech twice on training days and once on non-training days - always take one serving of Nitro immediately, followed by Cell-Tech right after training) OR you can use a weight gainer like Mutant Mass (along with powdered creatine) or Mass-Tech or Muscle Fuel Anabolic (which already contain creatine). If your diet is good (high in calories and protein), go with the Nitro/Cell stack, if your diet isn't so good, go with one of the mass gainers - start off with 2 to 3 scoops twice daily and increase until you are gaining the desired amount of weight per week (1/2 to 2 kilos).
